MSc in Music, Mind, and Brain

The MSc in Music, Mind, and Brain at Goldsmiths, University of London, combines music psychology with neuroscience, focusing on both the biological and cognitive aspects of musical behaviour. 

You will acquire all the necessary skills to pursue your own high-quality research, working with experts in music cognition, neuroscience, empirical aesthetics, music education and therapy.

PhD students

PhD students in the Music, Mind, and Brain Group are part of a vibrant research community at Goldsmiths, University of London. 

Our students use diverse methods—including EEG, eye tracking, computational modeling, and cross-cultural research—to explore topics such as music-evoked emotions, musical pleasure, performance, and cross-cultural responses to music (see Research).
